Thule has reported an 85.1% year over year surge in revenues in Q2’21 as the auto accessory maker benefits from a “strong trend for leisure and vacation activities nearer to home”. Yet, Thule has had challenges in “getting hold from our sub-suppliers of the right materials and components” according to CEO Magnus Welander. That resulted in “very, very high price increases from some of our suppliers to us on materials” which has led Thule to apply two customer price increases in one year.
