The U.S. EIA petroleum report shows exports of gasoline, distillates and other products reached a new high last week. This was due to poor refining conditions in Mexico and Venezuela. Panjiva data shows Mexico’s imports of gasoline increased 17% in the past three months on a year earlier. Venezuela’s problems are more deep-seated, and include a potential 50% drop in oil production in October.
