Under Armour’s new high-end range, due to be launched this week according to the Wall Street Journal, comes as imports of athleisure clothing plummet. Imports of yoga and track clothing fell 14.7% and 56.3% respectively in August. Under Armour’s imports dropped 9% in July and 15% in August. Adidas may have a better strategy, now including higher-end apparel – its imports jumped 29% in August.
