Russia’s ports handled 15% more cargo than a year earlier in May. That was the 14th straight month of growth and the highest since at least 2015. Growth was broad-based, though shipments via Arctic ports led the way with an 87% jump. Overall exports increased 10%, suggesting the 18% rise in the value of Russia’s exports seen in April could continue. Shipments to the U.S., including steel manufacturers TMK and Evraz, underperformed with an 11% drop.
