Atlas Copco, Suzano May Face Disruption From MSC’s Drug Bust

Container-line MSC has temporarily lost expedited customs accreditation from the U.S. government after $1.1 billion of cocaine was discovered on one of its vessels. That could result in disruptions for all MSC shipping until the accreditation returns due to extra inspections. MSC’s shipments from Central and Latin America, which may particularly affected, had already been in decline with an 8.2% year over year drop in the three months to May 31.
