The governments of Australia and China are increasingly at loggerheads due to the Australia’s call for an investigation into China’s actions during the COVID-19 pandemic. A forthcoming decision by the Chinese government regarding alleged dumping of Australian barley as well as restrictions on beef imports may be the vehicle for a further worsening of relations.
