The Port of Boston’s expansion project for its Conley container terminal will take a step forward this fall with the installation of new cranes. The firm is looking to expand both the vessels that can call at the port and the number of container lines using the port. Current services are led by MSC and by the Ocean Alliance, with growth through the port having slowed such that imports to the port in March 2021 were unchanged from a year earlier.
