The reopening of the British Parliament by HRH Queen Elizabeth II includes a vote on the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement Bill. The U.K. will leave the EU on Jan. 31 and enter a transition period through the end of the year. Formal negotiations with the EU to formulate a post-Brexit trade deal may only have 229 days to be completed – from Mar. 1 to Oct. 16 – given the requirements of legal and parliamentary scheduling on the EU side.
