Panjiva’s Combined Cargo Index for California increased 5.3% in July on a year earlier, the fourth straight increase. This was the result of a 9.6% jump in international deplanings at LAX and Ontario airports, combined with a 3.2% increase seaborne imports. While strong, this lagged the northwest index for the month.
