Freight forwarders operating U.S.-inbound, seaborne services experienced a slower rate of decline in traffic in July as the peak season got underway with shipments down by 3.7% year over year. That’s been led by a 6.1% rise in shipments from Chinese ports, favoring Asia-centric forwarders. Kerry’s Apex saw volumes increase by 16.0% year over year while Honour Lane rose by 24.5%.
