The freight forwarding industry is facing a peak season traffic boom as a result of post-lockdown restocking and retailers preparing for an anticipated earlier-and-larger shopping season. U.S. seaborne imports surged 16.8% year over year in October. The Asia-centric forwarders did best with Honour Lane and Hecny’s volumes climbing 80.5% and 74.5% higher respectively.
