The European Commission has sent a set of proposals for future collaboration to President-elect Biden ranging across trade and environmental policies, including the aim to “solve bilateral trade irritants”. The latter likely includes issues involving aerospace subsidies, steel / aluminum duties, digital taxes and carbon border taxes. The President-elect has stated that he is looking to build consensus with the EU regarding China but is “not going to enter any new trade agreement with anybody until we have made major investments here at home and in our workers”....
