Paccar shows value of diversity in face of COVID-19, USMCA preparations

Heavy truck maker Paccar has reopened its Mexican factories for producing the Kenworth brands of trucks and components following the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions by the government. The firm’s CEO, Preston Feight, has stated that “there was a lot of strong activity” in sales in March that has continued into April. There was nonetheless a 44.8% year over year drop in the firm’s exports from Mexico in April.
