Investor AB faces geopolitical risks across its industrial holdings. CEO Johan Forssell has stated that Brexit has led some of the companies it has holdings in to “build additional inventory”. Meanwhile a solution to the U.S.-China trade war would result in “significantly less uncertainty”, allowing leading companies “dare to invest again.”  U.S. tariffs on Chinese exports have already cut seaborne imports across four Investor companies – ABB, Atlas Copco, Electrolux and Husqvarna – by 7.8% on a year earlier in 4Q.
