Global trade policy uncertainty has worked to the advantage of the freight forwarder sector so far with third quarter revenues having risen by 8.8% on a year earlier as importers race to beat tariffs. Yet, K+N’s CEO, Detlef Trefzger, has indicated “that trade could stagnate in the first quarter” as stockpiling in the U.K. and U.S. dissipates.
