Mexico’s international trade activity grew 2.9% year over year in February, the 22nd straight month of expansion. It wasn’t all good news as trade in oil products dropped 6.0% while imports of consumer goods fell 5.3% and capital goods decreased by 7.1%. There was, however, an uplift in exports to the U.S. of 4.6% after a 7.8% rise in January while imports rose by a similar amount.
