Container handling through Mexico’s seaports soared 14% higher in November, marking the 17th straight increase. The Gulf-coast ports outperformed those on the Pacific coast for a 13th straight month. Yet, both coasts will suffer if NAFTA falls apart this year as 26% of outbound shipments go to the U.S. At the port level the smaller facilities generally did better in November, with Tampico experiencing a 44% rate of growth.
