Coronavirus continues to drive U.S. tariff reductions, including waste bags

The U.S. government has issued exemptions from Chinese imports covering nine tariff lines imported by Cardinal Health and Medline among others. That follows an earlier move to cut tariffs on imports of medical supplies in response to the coronavirus outbreak. While medical products such as medical waste bags and protective clothes are covered, the exemptions also capture non-medical versions of those products.
