Vietnam pivots to PPE production; Walgreens remains focused on China

The Vietnamese government has asked apparel manufacturers to pivot to producing masks and other pandemic related personal protection equipment to make up for a drop in garment exports. Panjiva data shows that garment imports to the U.S. from Vietnam fell by 15.9% year over year in Q2’20, a decrease of $167 million.
