The month of June will bring a slew of trade policy decisions from the Biden administration. The most important is the result of the administration’s critical supply chain review due early in the month. It will address ways to offset “production shortages, trade disruptions, natural disasters and potential actions by foreign competitors” in critical minerals, large batteries, semiconductors and pharmaceutical ingredients worth $51.6 billion in the 12 months to March 31.
