Maersk joins the fleet of upgrades after shipping swells in September

Container-line Maersk has upgraded its guidance for 2020 EBITDA by 19.2% at the midpoint after ocean freight volumes were “slightly better than anticipated” after dipping by 3% year over year in Q3. That makes it the third major logistics firm after DSV-Panalpina and Deutsche Post to upgrade earnings recently in response to a late surge in activity late in Q3.
