Valero, Phillips 66 lead Mexican oil exports as AMLO prepares for more

The Mexican government, under President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, may shortly announce a new energy strategy including $100 billion of investments. Projects that may benefit include upstream crude oil production as well as energy distribution infrastructure. The recent collapse in oil prices could lead to a pause in those plans though. Crude oil exports, led by Pemex, have climbed 12.0% year over year in Q4.
